The Ljubljana City Theatre and The Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television's Concert

In the spring of 2027 (April or May), we will celebrate the 15th Ljubljana City Theatre and the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television's concert. The stage of Kino Šiška will once again be taken over by the acting ensemble of the Ljubljana City Theatre, our regular guests, and new faces from the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film, and Television of the University of Ljubljana. Together, they will make another unforgettable evening. 

This special concert evening will feature songs by legendary local artists and global music icons. The actors and actresses will perform well-known songs in their own unique way—with sincerity, compelling acting, and catching exuberance. In a single evening, theatre and concert, nostalgia and fresh interpretations will come together.

The Ljubljana City Theatre and the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television's concerts bring the musical past to life, blending it with contemporary hits to create something fresh and unexpected. Once again, the cast will take the audience on a journey through the melodies of timeless classics, unforgettable hits, and the latest chart-toppers.

Led by Miha Petric and accompanied by top-notch musicians, the actors will receive vocal coaching from Sašo Vollmaier, a renowned composer and pianist.

The Ljubljana City Theatre and the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television's concert is not like and other musical event—it is a true celebration of theatre and musical creativity, where the actors’ stage presence blends with superb interpretation and powerful musical energy. The concert is already included in the repertoire of the high-school student subscription. We offer a discount to other season ticket holders.
