Pooch, Pussy and Poof is Gregor Fon's debut in drama. The author portrays the reunion of three good friends who at this point in their lives have lost all life's illusions. They've messed up their lives, but there is still some hope left for a brighter future. Their meeting could end up in a serious hangover, but as it turns out, their lives are more complicated than they wish.

In a bar so isolated not even mobile phones have any signal, or where, as one of the protagonists graphically puts it »it is as dark as in a black man’s arse«, the confrontation of three people takes place. They see life through different perspectives and the only thing they have in common is the fact that they have nothing in common. And so each and every one of them portrays the empty relations between men and the superficial nature of the world we live in.

The verbal stampede of cynicism, irony and funny anecdotes become more and more brutal, as the amount of consumed alcohol increases, and one can sense that their friendship has long since passed away, had it ever even existed. The pungent smell of this decaying corpse hisses out and poisons the air they breathe, wiping away any last trace of friendship and human dignity they might have had. And the morning will bring no salvation.

The text of Pooch, Pussy and Poof was nominated for Grum's prize at 38th Week of Slovenian Drama in 2008.
